Welcome

IMPORTANT UPDATE
Due to the current storm being upgraded to a category 1 hurricane, the company that insures the fireworks vendor will NOT allow the barge to travel following a storm/surge. All July 4th festivities will take place on Saturday, July 12th. All times will remain the same.

Now that winter has thawed, it is finally time to turn our thoughts toward another beautiful summer in our community. The July 4th Committee–is pleased to announce that our theme this year recognizes an iconic moment in American history: the 200th Anniversary of “The Star Spangled Banner.”

This year, “the rockets’ red glare” will be a symbol of hope. Our community will celebrate the National Anthem from morning until night, delighting in the memory of Sir Francis Scott Key’s masterpiece. We look forward to a morning of parade floats and displays celebrating not only our flag, but also our spirit and ingenuity. The evening will include our traditional July 4th fireworks display and an old fashioned band concert on the Plymouth Waterfront.

We are delighted to have the opportunity to plan and share this event with our community every year, but we cannot do it without your help. In order to celebrate July 4th this year, we need to raise $115,000. This covers the cost of the parade, public safety, entertainment and the fireworks display. July Four Plymouth, Inc. is a 501-c3 non profit organization.

Please help us maintain this important tradition with a tax deductible donation to the 2014 Star Spangled Celebration in Plymouth. You can donate by sending a check or money order made out to July Four Plymouth, Inc. at

About July 4 Plymouth Inc:

In 1980, the Town of Plymouth could no longer afford to fund the annual Independence Day celebration. A small group of local citizens came together to find the necessary funds that would ensure the community continued their beloved tradition of hosting the parade and fireworks in America’s Hometown. July 4 Plymouth, Inc. is a non profit organization dedicated to providing America’s Hometown with a spectacular 4th of July celebration including fireworks, a parade, concerts and fun each year.
