July 4 Plymouth and COVID-19

About Us

A non-profit 501 (c) (3) charitable corporation, committee members are unpaid volunteers with all dollars raised going directly to the performers, safety, and the fireworks company.   The group has spent over thirty years ensuring that the parade and fireworks happen. In recent years, the committee has been responsible for paying all town related services, i.e. police, fire, and department of public works personnel that support the parade and fireworks. 2019’s budget for the parade and fireworks is $100,00.00 and all of the funds needed for the day’s activities are raised by private donations. July 4 in America is a celebration of our freedoms, a way to show community spirit through sharing of our collective hometown values. Please help keep America’s Hometown community celebration alive by giving a tax-deductible donation today.

In 1980, the Town of Plymouth could no longer afford to fund the annual Independence Day celebration. A small group of local citizens came together to find the necessary funds that would ensure the community continued their beloved tradition of hosting the parade and fireworks in America’s Hometown. July 4 Plymouth, Inc. is a non profit organization dedicated to providing America's Hometown with a spectacular 4th of July celebration including fireworks, a parade, concerts and fun each year.
