Parking
For all parking information please visit the Park Plymouth website (this includes handicapped and EV parking/charging areas). Please be sure to check where you are parked for time limits and don't forget to pay the parking meters between the hours of 9:00 am and 7:00 pm to avoid being ticketed.
Accessible parking for both the parade and fireworks will be available at the Market Street lot, the main entrance lot at Town Hall and some dedicated spaces on Olmstead Terrace.
Road Race
The annual July 4th 5K Road Race will precede the Parade starting and finishing on Water Street at DCR Pilgrim Memorial State Park beginning at 7:30 AM. Runners will head north on Water Street, take a left on Nelson Street, right on Court Street, right on Robbins Road, right on the rail trail through Nelson Park and take Water Street back to the finish line at the bottom of Cole's Hill.

July 4th, 2026 – Parade and Fireworks
There will be NO OVERNIGHT PARKING throughout the downtown area beginning at 12AM on July 4th. This includes Court Street from the Kingston town line to North Street, Main Street, Main Street Extension, and Water Street. Any vehicle found in violation will be ticketed and towed beginning at 6AM.
There will be NO PARKING on Water Street between Union and Brewster Streets, the west side of Water Street between Brewster Street and Park Avenue, Carver Street, Market Street, and Summer Street from Market Street to Westerly Road all day beginning at 5AM.
Water Street will close between Union and Brewster Streets beginning at 6:00 AM and will remain closed until the conclusion of the Fireworks. Fireworks will begin at approximately 9:30 PM.
There will be NO PARKING on the east side of Sandwich Street from Water Street to Stephen’s Field beginning at 5AM. This will remain in effect until after the Fireworks.
There will be NO PARKING all day on Morton Park Road and Thoreau Road.
ALL PARKING RESTRICTIONS WILL BE CLEARLY MARKED WITH SIGNAGE AND BARRELS
