Theme for July 4, 2022

A TRIBUTE TO PLYMOUTH

Dear Organization Representative, 


As the President of July 4 Plymouth, Inc., I would like to invite you to participate in this year’s parade. The theme for the 2022 parade is A TRIBUTE TO PLYMOUTH. If you do not wish to use the official parade theme you may choose your own theme that honors our country and the spirit of the day. As you know, Plymouth’s 4th of July parade has become a great annual event for young and old and my hope is that you will join us this year. 


PARADE REGISTRATION

  • Community/Non-Profit Category (501c3) - No entry Fee 1st/2nd/3rd place Awards
  • Commercial/Business Category - $250.00 Entry Fee 1st/2nd/3rd place Awards
  • Musical Category - No Entry Fee 1st/2nd/3rd place Awards
  • Political Category - $500


As always, we will be awarding prizes for different categories in the parade. These categories are as follows:

COMMUNITY/NON-PROFIT:  1st, 2nd & 3rd place awards

COMMERCIAL/BUSINESS:  1st, 2nd & 3rd place awards

MUSICAL:  1st, 2nd & 3rd place awards

THEME TROPHY: This annual trophy will be awarded to the parade entry that best depicts the 2022 parade theme, A Tribute to Plymouth.

COLOR GUARD AWARD: This award will be presented to the best color guard in the parade.

PRESIDENT’S TROPHY: This trophy will be awarded by the July Fourth Committee to the individual or organization that best personifies the spirit of the day.

An additional category that will NOT be judged is POLITICAL ORGANIZATIONS and/or POLITICAL CANDIDATES, for whom the entry fee is $500.00 each. There is no award for political entries.

Parade Lineup

Parade lineup will be at Cordage Commerce Center located at 10 Cordage Park Circle in North Plymouth.

  • When you arrive please take the route outlined on the map which will bring you to the left of Mill #1 Retail and to the back of the building where you will find the parade line up and drop off location.

Parade Route

The parade will leave Cordage Commerce Center by taking a right onto Route 3A South/Court Street.  The route follows Court Street which becomes Main Street and then Main Street Extension before turning left onto Water Street and finishing in front of the judges at DCR Pilgrim Memorial State Park at the bottom of Coles
